Talking through your feelings and about your issues in safety and confidence helps to clarify where it is you are stuck in your life. Each person has the capacity to transform the suffering and find new ways of being.
The National Counselling Society (NCS) plays an important role within the professon of counselling here in the UK and in May 2013 the Society was one of the first organisations to gain Accredited Register status with the Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register programme.
It is important you choose a qualified and experienced therapist and one that feels right! It can take a while before you start to see and feel progress but you will start to feel better.
My commitment is to helping you gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes, and find your own solutions to problems without judgement or criticism.
Maybe you need help choosing a positive direction and would value the clarity that comes from sharing with a therapist who can understand your needs and help you find a sense of stability and help you find your own answers. If you are struggling with overwhelm, rage or feel very emotional and on edge seeking help is a good step forward.
The counselling I offer is Person-Centred, Humanistic and Integrative working with honesty, respect, understanding and empathy. I also use different therapeutic approaches and tools that fit your individual needs considering your unique characteristics, preferences, needs, physical abilities, spirituality, energy and motivation levels.
It is important to understand that you don't have to go through these difficulties alone. I offer you my full presence and first free consultation so you can find out for yourself if working with me is the right fit for you. My promise is to fully support you in helping you discover your own solutions.
The cost is £40 per 50 minute session / for children, pensioners and unpaid carers the cost is £25
